What to wear to Download Festival

Can I take a backpack into Download Festival? 

• Yes, you can take a backpack into the festival grounds, but there are some rules. Small to medium backpacks are usually fine, especially for taking into the campsite. However, large bags are not allowed in the main arena. All bags will be searched on entry and certain items like glass, aerosols and sharp objects are not permitted.

Can you take water bottles into Download Festival? 

• Yes, you can take water bottles into the festival. Similar to airport guidelines, full bottles may not be allowed on entry so it’s best to bring an empty, clear bottle and use the water refill points around the site.
