We've all been there: taking one look at the weather app in morning, only to sigh as rain icons fill the forecast. While it can be easy to throw on your trusty weather-proof jacket and call it a day, we’re determined to revitalize your wardrobe with stylish clothes and accessories that’ll help make a statement even on the grayest days. How? We’ll show you.

The Outer Layer

The jacket or coat you choose will be the centerpiece of your look, so it’s crucial to choose one that considers these three things: the temperature, level of downpour and your personal style. Funnel-neck jackets have been everywhere lately; a reclaimed ‘cool-girl’ staple that offers a sporty yet sleek finish. Prefer to keep it classic? A trench coat will never let you down. Midi and maxi styles are our go-to for days that call for head-to-toe coverage, while a cropped trench is ideal for warmer temperatures.

The Shoes

Naturally, boots are your best bet, but we’re not talking about classic rain boots. Chunky biker, Chelsea and heeled boots in faux leather provide a sturdy grip on wet pavements while adding a grungy twist to your look. Sneakers work just as well, provided they feature shower-repellent fabrics and rubber soles. Either way, they’ll carry you through your commute with ease and effortlessly good style.

The Pants

Our number one rule for rainy-day dressing? Choose your denim wisely. Jeans will work for drizzles but can you think of anything worse than wearing them during a downpour? Instead, reach for wide-leg tailored pants or skirts in lightweight fabrics that won't soak up the rain or weigh you down. Darker hues are also worth considering to keep those inevitable rain marks under wraps. Thank us later.

The Accessories

We take it back: having wet hair might just be worse than soggy jeans. This is where our handy accessories come in. An umbrella is a must-have, but there’s no need to settle for a basic black design, unless you want to. Look to on-trend prints and colors that can be coordinated with your look for a stylish finishing touch. Caps have also been making a strong case across social media moodboards. A hair-saving hero that shields and adds a chic touch to your look. Take your pick from our latest styles below!
