What to wear on a rainy day

We've all been there: taking one look at the weather app in morning, only to sigh as rain icons fill the forecast. The outer layer

Trainers work just as well, provided they feature shower-repellent fabrics and rubber soles. Either way, they’ll carry you through your commute with ease and effortlessly good style.

The trousers

Our number one rule for rainy-day dressing? Choose your denim wisely. Jeans will work for drizzles but can you think of anything worse than wearing them during a downpour? Instead, reach for wide-leg tailored trousers or skirts in lightweight fabrics that won't soak up the rain or weigh you down. We take it back: having wet hair might just be worse than soggy jeans. This is where our handy accessories come in.
